It is with great joy that we announce the forthcoming visit of our precious founder and teacher Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche.

We are delighted this year Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche has kindly offered to give teachings at Gomde UK on the extraordinary Dzogchen text, A Dear Treasure for Destined Disciples by His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche. A most precious opportunity for us all.

H.H Dudjom Rinpoche is revered as a realized master. A holder of lineages of all schools of Tibetan Buddhism, and one of the greatest Tertons of our time.

Please read the retreat information below regarding accommodation carefully before registering. We anticipate the seminar will be extremely popular please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Preliminary Schedule

The seminar will begin on Saturday 17th June. If you are staying on-site, we kindly ask you to register between 2.30–4.30 pm. There will be a welcome talk on the evening of the 17th.

Rinpoche will be teaching in the mornings. The Seminar will conclude on the afternoon of the 23rd of June.

Ngakso Puja is to be held on Monday 19th June.
We will be requesting some empowerments and will provide an update here in due course.

Retreat Fees

This event is by donation. The suggested donation covers our costs of providing teachings, accommodation and all meals and facilities.

Residential Shared rooms – suggested donation: £475 – £650
Full seminar, including puja.

Residential Camping – suggested donation: £295 – £395
Full seminar, including puja.

Day Visitor (includes lunch): Suggested donation: £225 – £350
Full seminar, including puja.

Puja only (Monday 19th June): £50.00

Please note that the centre is almost entirely dependent on the generosity of those who wish to support our activities through donations. For those of you who are able to give more to either support someone who has difficulty funding a place or to support the running of Gomde UK, a greater donation would be welcome and much appreciated.

Making Offerings for the Teachings

Following teachings, it is traditional to offer a personal offering to those who have imparted the liberating instructions. For this seminar, we are welcoming Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, Lama Öser, Khenpo Pema Nyamgal and Catherine Dalton as translator.

Diet
Vegetarian and Vegan diets can be accommodated.
We can support further special requests regarding diet for medical reasons.

Calling All Enthusiastic Helpers!

There are many causes and conditions that need to come together to make the seminar with Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche come beautifully together. With this in mind, it’s really special to be supporting the seminar on the ground; can you be a part of the team?

What we need help with

* Before the seminar, we are spring cleaning, decorating, gardening, building and organising – really bringing it together for Rinpoche and everyone visiting.

* The days prior to the seminar, we will be setting up, which is an exciting time! We will be shopping for the seminar, preparing the rooms, cooking, cleaning, setting up the rooms, preparing the shrine, ritual preparations, gardening and land work to really give the centre that extra sparkle!

* During the seminar, we would love your help with managing and organising the day-to-day running of the event and, those who would be happy to undertake work retreats to offset costs.

Retreat Cancellation Policy

Full payment is required two weeks prior to the retreat.

We can refund deposits two weeks before the retreat, but kindly request to retain an administration fee of £50.00.
