Green Tara Retreat with Lama Öser
24th – 26th June 2022
About this retreat
This retreat focuses on the outer Sadhana practice based on the female embodiment of compassion, Tara. Tara is noted to be swift with her compassion and helps alleviate all fears. This weekend will give practitioners insight and guidance on how to practice in an authentic way helping access the inherent potential of the practice. The weekend programme is suitable for new and existing practitioners.

About Lama Öser
Lama Öser is one of our very senior monks at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling. He has studied under many great masters and for a number of years was the personal assistant of the great Dzogchen master Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche. We are therefore very fortunate that Lama Öser resides here for several months of the year, leading retreats and giving teachings. Lama Öser also supports us with all aspects of our practice and is available, when in residence, to support those who undertake retreat at Gomde UK.
You can attend this retreat by staying on-site at Gomde, or as a day visitor.
Payment for the retreat is on a donation basis.

The suggested donation for attending the retreat on-site is between £90 and £120. The suggested donation for attending the retreat as a day visitor is between £40 and £60.

If you any difficulties with the suggested amounts, please contact paulette@gomde.uk
Accommodation Options
We are offering retreat participants single occupancy of rooms on-site. These will be either in our hall, or in our coach house. Both offer very comfortable rooms. Bathrooms may be shared with one – three other people.
Making Offerings
It is traditional to make offerings to the teacher following retreat, which enables practitioners to show their appreciation to the teacher. Please give what you can afford. This can be done at the end of the retreat, or you are welcome to make a donation online via the website and let us know.
