On the Passing into Parinirvana of Kyabje Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche

Dear Sangha members,

It is with heavy hearts that we share with you the below message received from Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche. If you would like to make an offering to the Gompa for the current pujas with aspirations for the swift rebirth of Chokling Rinpoche, please do so below.

‘This morning at 12 minutes past 10 am, Singapore time, His Eminence the fourth Chokgyur Lingpa, Kyabje Tsikey Chokling Mingyur Dewey Dorje Rinpoche passed gently into parinirvana. Rinpoche was 68 years old. When Rinpoche passed away, all of his brothers and family were gathered around him. Rinpoche remains in tukdam. For the benefit of all beings, we earnestly and steadfastly pray for Rinpoche’s rebirth.’

Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche's Guidance

On the occasion of Kyabje Chokling Rinpoche’s passing into parinirvana, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche recommends that all of us sincerely engage in the practices of The Single Form of Vajrasattva along with Emptying the Hells from their Very Depths (Narak Kongshak).

Lama Tenzin Sangpo will lead these practices along with the feast offering at 10.00 am till 11.00 pm and 2 pm till 4 pm GMT every day for one week. You can access the texts and recordings of these practices here in the Gomde France google drive folder.

New recordings and also a version of the practice without tsok for those who are unfamiliar with that practice will also soon be added to the drive. If you are unable to complete these practices it is very good to simply recite the 100 syllable Vajrasattva mantra and the Seven line supplication.

Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche would very much like everybody to join in, preferably at the same time. If that time is not possible, then it’s also alright to practice at another time that suits you.

As a global community, we extend our deepest condolences to Rinpoche’s family. We feel indescribable gratitude for the teachings, blessings, and wisdom that we have had the great fortune to receive from Kyabje Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche.
