Lhabab Düchen, November 11th, 2025, marks the one-year anniversary of the inauguration of the Thousand Buddha Temple in Lumbini, Nepal, birthplace of the Buddha Sakyamuni.To celebrate this auspicious anniversary, there will be a recitation of the words of the Buddha in Pali, Chinese, Tibetan, English and other languages into which these wisdom texts have been translated – a great gathering devoted to reading aloud the Buddha’s teachings of wisdom and compassion to illuminate our world and bring peace and insight to all.
The recitation of the Buddha’s Words will be held in conjunction with the 45th Annual Seminar by Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche. This year’s seminar topic is “A Presentation of the Three Vehicles: View, Meditation, Conduct and Fruition.”
Recitation of the Sutras, 11 November at Gomde UK
If you are not able to travel to Nepal, we invite you to join us and together, be part of the global recitation at Gomde UK on 11th of November.We will host online group participation for the Recitation of the Sutras from the mediation hall at Gomde. Recitation of the Buddha’s Words will be a resounding in many languages, and Rinpoche encourages everyone to participate.
