Empowerments
We have respectfully requested empowerments for Trinley Nyngpo and Vajrakilaya.
Reading Transmission
We have respectfully requested reading transmissions for Trinley Nyngpo, Vajrakilaya, Buddha Shakyamuni, Sangchö, The Heart Sutra and Protector Practice.
The pandemic has given us all a reminder of impermanence and the rarity of precious opportunities. Acknowledging this we are delighted that Rinpoche will visit, please do not underestimate the rarity of this opportunity.
Making Offerings for the Teachings
Following teachings it is traditional to offer a personal offering to those who have imparted the liberating instructions. For this seminar, we are welcoming Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, Khenpo Pema Nyamgal and Catherine Dalton as translator.
Special Requests
Diet
Vegetarian and Vegan diets will be accommodated.
We can support further special requests regarding diet for medical reasons.
Facilities
Please make us aware of any personal needs regarding mobility and access.
Here’s what we need help with:
During August – before the seminar, we are spring cleaning, decorating, gardening, building and organising – really bringing it together for Rinpoche and everyone visiting.
The days prior and following the seminar – we will be setting up and breaking down, which is an exciting time! We will be shopping for the seminar, preparing the rooms, cooking, cleaning, setting up the rooms, preparing the shrine, ritual preparations, gardening and land work to really give the centre that extra sparkle!
During the seminar – we would love your help with managing and organising the day to day running of the event and, those who would be happy undertake work retreat to offset costs.
Being a part of the core team at any point is a real blessing.
If you can help in any way please contact paulette@gomde.uk
Together let’s make the seminar a wonderful experience for everyone!
