Join Lama Tenzin for a Vajrakilaya retreat; suitable for both new and experienced practitioners.

The Yidam, the root of all accomplishment
The practice of Vajrakilaya is at the heart of the ancient Vajrayana traditions of Tibet. The wrathful Heruka Vajrakilaya is the yidam deity who embodies the enlightened activity of all the buddhas. Vajrakilaya manifests in an intensely wrathful yet compassionate form in order to subjugate the delusion and negativity within us that arise as obstacles to the practice of Dharma.

Dates: 24th October – 4th November
The retreat will begin after lunch on the 24th October and conclude after lunch on the 4th November.

Retreat Booking Options

Retreat attendance is by donation. The suggested donation covers our costs of providing teachings, accommodation, all meals and the many facilities offered at Gomde UK.

Vajrakilaya Retreat (24th October – 4th November)
Residential, Twin Room — £600.00
Residential, Single Room — £800.00

Facilities:
All shared accommodation is single gender.
Please make us aware of any personal needs regarding mobility and access.
Please get in touch if you would be interested in ‘glamping’ – it might be possible for us to create a space for this.

Special Requests

Staying Extra Nights (£40 pp/per night).
It is only possible to stay extra nights before the Vajrakilaya retreat. It is only possible to stay for extra knights following the Kurukulle retreat. Please detail your request in the special request box.

We cannot guarantee that we are able to accommodate your request. Extra nights start at £40 per night depending on your accommodation.

Offerings for Teachings and Tsok

It is traditional to offer a dana (donation) to the teacher and translator. Lama Tenzin will be joined by translator Maitri Yarnell.

These retreats also include a daily Tsok feast offering. The suggested minimum donation for Tsok is £30 (£3 per day).

Booking Confirmation and Cancellation

Your booking will be confirmed once we receive your deposit. We’ll contact you if your preferred accommodation is unavailable.

Final balance is due by 1st October
  • Cancellations before 1st October refund minus £50 admin fee
  • Cancellations after 1st October 50% refund of your donation
